The special session on “Alternatives energy” will cover energy sources that have no undesired environmental impacts such for example fossil fuels or nuclear energy. These include Biomass, Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Hydroelectric, Nuclear and Hydrogen sources combined with the use of Recyclingand Life-cycle planning, design and assessment. In addition, this special session will open the topic “Alternatives Energy as a new task for Microfluidics”.In particular, this subtopic will open discussion on field driven fluid and particle flows such as electrophoresis, electroosmosis, and dielectrophoresis.This special session will involve both theoretical and experimental studies.
